Waterfront Trail 

Enjoy an easier asphalt trail that winds along the Hamilton shoreline from Princess Point through Bayfront Park, Pier 4, and onward. This trail also connects to the Desjardins Canal that borders Cootes Paradise – a protected wetland that features some of the most diverse animal and plant species in Ontario. You’ll be able to see a wide variety of tree species showcasing their most beautiful colours.

Devil’s Punchbowl

This famous conservation area contains two separate waterfalls – the Upper and Lower Punch Bowl Falls. If you’re looking for gorgeous views with unique escarpment formations, plunging waterfalls amidst a backdrop of vivid oranges, reds, and yellows, the hike to this area is well worth it. 

Armes Lookout Point

Take in Hamilton’s landscape at Armes Lookout Point. Located at 633 Mountain Brow Blvd, this area is perfect for sunset walks with the whole family.
