Looking to up your fitness game? If you’re in Burlington and have been struggling to find the motivation to incorporate more exercise into your life, check out Fit in the Core! This is an excellent opportunity to get off the couch and join others in the city for free fitness classes. If you’re interested in getting fit right downtown, here’s everything you need to know about Fit in the Core.
What Exactly is Fit in the Core?
Join other members from your community for some outdoor fitness that is FREE of charge. Every week, you can enjoy working out with a new instructor and routine that aims to encourage members of our city to get active and introduce more exercise into their lives.
Where and When Does it Take Place?
You can find Fit in the Core classes hosted right outside of City Hall. Head to 426 Brant Street Civic Square every Sunday from June 3rd until September 23rd from 10am-11am. Classes will be cancelled in the event of rain.
What Types of Classes can I Expect?
Every week there’s a new and exciting class to participate in to keep things fun and interesting. Some of the different types of classes hosted here include belly dancing, tai chi, yoga, pilates, interval training, full body conditioning, and more. Who is This Suitable For?
Fit in the Core classes are suitable for all different levels of fitness. So don’t be shy! There’s no judgement or bad vibes here. Bring along your friends or family for some outdoor exercise with engaging new stuff each Sunday.
What Do I Need to Bring?
All you need to bring along with you is a water bottle, yoga mat to lie down on, and a towel if you need to wipe off afterwards if you build up a sweat!
