This past weekend, CLV Group and LIV Apartments participated in the largest one day volleyball tournament in the world, HOPE Volleyball Summerfest! HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) began 36 years ago with the purpose of giving back to the Ottawa community. Over the years, HOPE has raised over $3.5 million in support of more than 110 local charities. We are so happy to get involved and contribute each year!
The event was filled with thousands of people playing games and raising money for charity. Bands played throughout the day and music was flowing through all the speakers around Mooney’s Bay.
CLV Group and LIV Apartments both had a team in the tournament and battled it out against other corporations during a day of fun in the sun. For the final game of the first round, CLV Group and LIV Apartments played each other and the competitive spirit was higher than ever. CLV Group won 4 out of 5 of their games and made it to the next round! Though the games ended there, the spirits were high.
We had such an amazing time and can’t wait to get practicing for next year!
