This large park is the perfect place to throw down a blanket and enjoy a drink and some homemade tapas with friends. For those who feel sporty, La Fontaine Park is also great for jogging and walking as there are various paths for you to explore!
Lachine Canal | From the Old Port of Montreal to Lake Saint-Louis, through the boroughs of Lachine, Lasalle and Sud-Ouest
Some have said that Lachine Canal has the best paved biking paths in all of Montreal. Grab some provisions at Atwater Market and have yourself a lovely picnic after taking a stroll along the canal. Everyone will find something to love: kayak and paddle board rentals, historic sites, restaurants and shop, artistic attractions, etc. Great tip – the sunset is stunning at Lachine Canal.

This urban sandy beach is worth a detour. If you don’t have time to get out of the Island, this is the perfect place to lay down and enjoy a sunny day in Montreal. While there is no place to swim, you have access to beach chairs and umbrellas and you can visit the clock tower or enjoy a ride on the Ferris wheel.

Of course, Montreal offers many more places to enjoy the summer: Mount Royal Park, Jarry Park, Jean Drapeau Park, Olympic Park, St-Louis Square, and so much more. Step outside of your CLV Group apartment and explore the charm of Montreal’s nature.
