For many people living in Burlington, summer officially begins with the annual Sound of Music Festival, held every year on the waterfront at Spencersmith Park. The festival brings the community together to create memories and traditions that last a lifetime – ask anyone in town and they’re likely to have a Sound of Music story.
Whether you’re a ritualistic festival-goer who already has ‘SOM’ scrawled into your calendar, or you’re new in town and want to see for yourself what the hype is all about, it’s important to have an idea of what’s going on and when so that you can plan your visit to the festival accordingly. Check out the guide below for some of the highlights of the event and make sure you don’t miss out!
