Les Hivernales is a series of events and attractions that will take over Montreal from January 6 – March 11. Events will include a series of winter-themed contests, like snowman building, tossing Christmas trees, digging cars out of snow and sliding down hills in recycling boxes. Join the fun at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Old Montreal and in the Quartier des spectacles!
Igloofest
Igloofest is the place to be during Montreal’s winter weekend nights. From January 12 – February 19, Montreal plays host to a long roster of world-renowned DJs, VJs, and artists. With a new wacky and outrageous party theme each weekend, your winter calendar will quickly fill up!
Montréal en Lumière
Montréal en Lumière takes place February 23 – March 11, presenting some of the best shows, family activities, and fine dining experiences Montreal has to offer. Over 500 renowned chefs and wine experts take part in the festival, presenting something special for your taste buds. With workshops, tastings, and VIP pairing experiences, this festival is a must-attend for all Montreal foodies! As part of the festival, there are also fun outdoor activities to take part in, including a Ferris wheel, zipline, and snowy slides!
Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride in Mont Royal Park
Grab your friends, family, or that special someone for a picturesque sleigh ride through one of Montreal’s treasures, Mont Royal Park. The park is located right in downtown Montreal and offers a beautiful weekend escape for those craving a little adventure in the great outdoors. While you’re at the park you can also go sledding and ice skating on Beaver Lake!
