This past weekend, CLV Group participated in the 47th Annual Help Santa Toy Parade in Ottawa. The Help Santa Toy Parade is put on by the Ottawa Professional Fire Fighters’ Association in an effort to provide toys to those less fortunate in the Ottawa-Carleton area. Throughout the parade, fire fighters collect new toys and cash donations which are then distributed. To date, the organization has collected 50,000 donations with over 100,000 spectators at the parades.
CLV Group had an amazing time marching in the parade and seeing the thousands of happy children patiently waiting to see Santa. There were 60 floats in the parade, including dancers, the Ottawa Humane Society, Disney Princesses and a ton more!
As our vehicle décor, we were giving away a MASSIVE white polar bear stuffed animal! Spectators were able to take a picture of the bear, and post their photo on social media tagging #CLVHolidayBear for a chance to win the bear! The bear will also be present at the Santa Claus Parade in Aylmer on December 3rd! Stay tuned as we’ll announce the winner after the Aylmer parade!
