CLV Group How To Effeciently Arrange Furniture in Your CLV Group Studio Apartment Featured Image

At CLV Group, we have something for everyone; whether you’re looking for a studio, one, two, three bedroom apartment or townhome, you are sure to find your next perfect home with us.

Our studio apartments are picture-perfect for any lifestyle, whether you are looking for your first apartment, are a young professional looking for a close place to call home near work or are looking to downsize.

Although studio apartments are smaller than the typical apartment, our CLV Group studio apartments come with all of the same amazing features as our one, two or three bedroom apartments including beautiful flooring, stainless steel appliances, energy efficient appliances and lighting, freshly painted units and more!

Unlike one bedroom apartments, studios don’t include a separate sleeping area, and instead, have a large open space. Arranging your furniture may seem like a daunting task at first, with such an open area to organize and create a sense of flow, but let us help you transform your studio apartment into the space of your dreams.

When transforming your apartment into your own, you will want to consider three main areas: the bedroom, the living room and the kitchen.

The Bedroom

Your bed is most likely going to be your largest piece of furniture, so it is best to find it a home first. For a greater sense of privacy, consider placing your bed away from the entryway, that way, you are not immediately walking into your bedroom as soon as you come through the door.

TIP: Need more privacy? Create a divider between the bedroom and living room by using a bookcase or clothing rack to create the illusion of separate rooms. Try lining up some of these clothing racks  or using a shelving unit.

Allow for privacy by using dividers like a folding screen to create the illusion of sectioned rooms. Blocked shelving units are also perfect because they still allow light to shine through.

The Living Room

Consider where you want your living space to be, and how large of an area you want to dedicate to this area. The amount of room you dedicate to your living room will also depend on the amount of you have already dedicated to your bedroom. Running your bed along the wall versus having it come out perpendicular will change the shape of your room, and ultimately effect the shape and size of the living room as well.

Just because you want a TV in your living space doesn’t mean that you need a larger space to accommodate furniture. Consider placing your seating area closer together to reflect a conversation area that can then be rearranged a little when you want to watch TV with a group of people.

The Kitchen

Your stunning kitchen will already be intact when you move into your CLV Group apartment, but that doesn’t mean you can’t change the look and feel of it. Whether you choose to include a table and chairs, or opt for a small island, the layout of your kitchen could look different depending on the eating space your incorporate. Make the most of your space and choose staple pieces that work best for your lifestyle.

Whether you want a table or not, using light coloured furniture with a pop of coloured décor will help brighten the room and create the illusion of more space.
