If you’re based in Ottawa’s west end, you may have noticed a new sign above the doors at the Boys and Girls Clubhouse. We are pleased to announce that earlier this month, Colleen Mooney (Executive Director, Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa) held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially rename this location The Ron Kolbus Clubhouse, in honour of Ron Kolbus, a beloved City Councilor, former Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa Director and executive at CLV Group.

The Boys and Girls Club is a cause that is very close to CLV Group, and we are extremely proud to continue supporting them in Ron’s honour.

“Thanks to the generous support of Mike McGahan and CLV Group, we are proud to honour one of Ottawa’s great community leaders. Ron Kolbus was a firm believer that good business doesn’t end in the boardroom, it continues into our communities. He always felt that giving time and resources to those in need was of the utmost importance. The Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa is proud to honour Ron Kolbus in this manner for his dedication to ensuring that children and youth in our community have a safe and supportive place to go.” – Colleen Mooney
