Tips to Tackle Shedding Around Your Apartment
Clothing
Try to stop leaving your clothes in the open to avoid your pet using them as their own personal bed! You can also use dryer sheets when drying your clothes (the hair will stick to the sheets due to the static).
Upholstered Furniture
Keep a lint roller handy. Whether it’s by the front door, in your purse, in the car; you’ll be thankful you have it when you need it! Running a damp rubber glove or sponge over your upholstered furniture helps to removed embedded fur with ease.
Non-Upholstered Furniture + Hardwood Floors
Microfiber cloths and mops are great because the static electricity helps capture the hair.
Shedding is inevitable, but trying some of the above tips will help keep your pet healthy and your apartment hair-free!
