Each year in November, hundreds of commemorative ceremonies and events take place across the country to observe Veterans’ Week and Remembrance Day.
This November 11th, our teams across Ontario and Quebec paid tribute to Canada’s fallen soldiers, veterans and serving members of the Forces by attending their local memorial services, volunteering with veterans and joining the nation-wide moment of silence at 11am. We have a couple examples of our team members paying respects in their own way below.
Our Customer Care Coordinator, Mathieu (Montreal) volunteered last Saturday and Sunday at a local grocery store selling poppies for the legion. The public was very generous and many of the residents from our Montreal buildings stopped by and picked up their poppies from Mat and Jerry.
Our LIV Apartments Construction Crew (Ottawa) recognizing the nation’s Moment of Silence on the rooftop at 11am.
There are many ways to remember and honour our veterans, serving members and those passed. Thank you to everyone who participated in their local Remembrance Day ceremonies and veteran initiatives.
Looking for ways to reach out? You can thank a Veteran by sending a postcard for peace.
